Black Lives Matter and Romans 13

This is not complex.

This does not require a degree from Harvard Divinity School.  (In fact, that may only blind you to the Truth even further.)

If you are a Christian, if you claim to follow Jesus, if you consider the Bible, the Old and New testaments to be the Word of God: revealed Truth, then you are standing at a fork on the road.

You cannot be a Child of God and “straddle the fence.”

If you take the path to the Right, then you believe that every word in the Bible is God’s Word without error or embellishment.  It is God’s Word; plain and simple.  Divine Truth without error.

If you take the path that veers to the Left, then the Bible cannot be trusted: it is riddled with errors and was created by men: Not by God.  It is a false, counterfeit, man-made document; not divinely inspired and written.

You cannot have it both ways.

Many Christians, those who profess belief in God and his Word have now embraced the false doctrine, the evil teaching of “Black Lives Matter.”

These Christians, many of whom I love and respect, have abandoned God and his Word and embraced the false narrative that is now fast becoming a new “faith” in modern America.

What does the Bible say about black criminals dying at the hands of police?  What does God say about police officers and agents of the state?  Are they “murderers” like the BLM false narrative says?

Or does God say something entirely different than Black Lives Matter?

Romans 13: 1-5

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will [a]bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.

This is either true.  Or it is not.  You cannot have it both ways.

Does God want you to submit to the police?  Or fight them and resist arrest because they are hateful racists?  Are black people submitting or resisting the police?  Is resisting the police; Godly, righteous, wholesome behavior?  Or is it sin and wickedness?

This is NOT open to “interpretation.”

EZSOi5wU0AA0C_b What others say about Romans 13

Matthew Henry 1662-1714

The grace of the gospel teaches us submission and quiet, where pride and the carnal mind only see causes for murmuring and discontent. Whatever the persons in authority over us themselves may be, yet the just power they have, must be submitted to and obeyed. In the general course of human affairs, rulers are not a terror to honest, quiet, and good subjects, but to evil-doers. Such is the power of sin and corruption, that many will be kept back from crimes only by the fear of punishment. Thou hast the benefit of the government, therefore do what thou canst to preserve it, and nothing to disturb it. This directs private persons to behave quietly and peaceably where God has set them.

John F. MacArthur, b. 1939

But the institution of government with all of its failures and abuses is nonetheless designed by God for the protection of life and property, the repression of evil, and the rewarding of virtue and good.

Here then is the first reason to submit to the government.  It is designed by God.  God knows what our government is like.  God knows what our situation is like.  God has allowed it.  It is His appointment and we are to submit to it.  That’s our responsibility.

Second point, government is by divine decree, first of all. Secondly, resistance to government is rebellion against God.  Resistance to government is rebellion against God.  All sin against civil authority is a sin against God who put that authority there.

Look at it there in verse 2.  “Therefore, he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God.”  The word “ordinance” is “institute,” “institution,” diatag.  You’re really opposing God.  Whoever resists… The word “resist” here has the idea of lining yourself up against.  It’s a military term, getting in line against, to arrange yourself to take action against.  When you do that, when you resist the government, you have committed an awful crime, a crime against God Himself.

It was not consequential whether the Roman emperor was elected by the people, whether he was appointed by the senate, or whether he was placed by the military, or whether he inherited it by family.  That didn’t matter.  It was not consequential whether the imperial authority asserted by Caesar was just or unjust, or whether Caesar was good or bad.  We know his authority was often unjust and he was terribly wicked, that was not an issue.  Still Paul says to the Roman Christians, submit.

As a Christian, you can NOT have this “both ways.”

Either,

(A) You side with Black Lives Matter (BLM), Antifa, and other un-Godly groups and their rebellion against God and the civil authority (police) that God has instituted to keep order and punish the evil doer.

Or,

(B) You side with God and the police (law enforcement) who are doing HIS WILL in protecting society and keeping us all safe.

The Bible is clear: Those who submit have nothing to fear.  The only ones upon whom the sword falls are those who resist the lawful authority that God has put in power.

I belong to another time and place. Sadly, that world no longer exists. I long for my home. I long for the desert. I miss the old America. I mourn for what once was, and will never be again. So I blog and write and remember.

    1. @Father john…

Good to see you here, Sir.

I hope you and Mr. Griffin will find rapprochement in the future, as you have long been a fine regular there.

    2. Great to see you Fr John!
I noticed you had disappeared on the OD along with Denise and others.
I can’t believe Brad blocked you, that seems childish.
I think the nonstop coronahoaxPorn is annoying also but i have compared it to the unquestionable heliocentric model of the universe argument that nobody is permitted to question on white nationalist forums.
I had a similar problem with the DS and whoever the mods over there are.
I think this site is more Christianity oriented for people who have actual real faith in God vs those who think man can “get us out of this mess”….
There is no government solution to spiritual problems.
America (and the west) have turned their backs on God and this is what always happens when nations and people do this.
We will never vote and philosophy our way out of genocide.

I do not think that Mr. Griffin blocked Miss Denise. She has periods when she hangs out intensely at OD and then goes away.

As to Fr. John, he has long been a great regular at OD, but, he got very bellicose and uncivil with Mr. Griffin for an extended period of time, which, by the way, happened at a time when he was receiving a lot of flak from others.

As someone who has run Confederate-Social Media groups on social media, I can tell you that there is but so much negativity you can deal with daily.

It begins to overwhelm you and, if you cannot get them to stop, the only recourse is to bar them.

For whatever it is worth, Mr. Griffin and I have had our disagreements, some of them very hard-edged in the beginning years, but, we always managed to keep them civil.

Speaking as a Southerner, I would conclude by saying this : The work Mr. Griffin has done has been objectively invaluable, because for many years he has been the only strong pro-Southern voice willing to call out our enemies and the evil encompassing all of us.

Whatever you think of Mr. Griffin’s judgement on a particular issue, he has risked his life and liberty over and over again to speak the truth, this in a time when truth is not only out of fashion, it has been anathematized.

Though Mr. Griffin is being joined by a growing numbers voices now, it was not so long ago that his was the sole Southern voice courageous enough to attack The United States’ Government, and all their infinite layers of proxies, and do it full bore.

Moreover, I note that most of these other voices that now could be compared to Mr. Griffin are not quite so frank and knowledgeable as he, or, those that are, not so sane and civil.

I love him for that, and I hope you will, too.

  1. @Geir…

Sir, though you put forth your premise with the the greatest of simplicity, and though one cannot argue with Paul’s intent here, this issue, in my view, is enormously complex.

    Why?

Because Chryst was a social rebel, a secessionist, a reformer, if you will – and so much of these things was He that he wound up paying the ultimate price.

I say that not from the standpoint of what the Crucifixion means to you and me, but, for what it meant to those who put Him to it.

Moreover, as the direct descendant of Revolutionary War Heroes, and Confederates, from Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia, it is in my blood to believe that the whole point of this country was to install a manner of governance that was Local Control by Local White People.

Any authority which contravenes that kind of authority makes my rebel blood bristle.

it has always been this way, and the simplest example of this can be that, in recent months, when places of businesses tried to make me submit to masks or fever-takers, I politely balked and walked away.

Moreover, I came down with a serious illness in my life that threatened my life. Modern Medicine completely failed me, and, at a certain point I rebelled against their authority and undertook dietary and herbal cures.

I am alive and kicking today only because I balked at their authority.

Lastly, as a Traditional Southerner, I have listened to this country attack my people, it’s culture, it’s history, and ways all my life – most of those parties, entities, and establishments, vested with considerable ‘authority’ to do so.

In spite of their edicts that I not be, I am a Southern Nationalist, a Confederate, a secessionist, and an LGBTQ sceptical Orthodox Christian.

So, clearly my existence is, at this time in history, almost entirely in contradiction to ‘authority’.

By the same token, I submit to my wife, Jesus Chryst, my friends, and my community all the time, so, I hope you can appreciate that the question of ‘authority’ and ‘submission’ is, indeed, a thorny one.

At any rate, God bless you and thank you!

    1. Thanks for the response, Ivan!

We have spoken before on the OD forum, and i respect Brad very much for what he has done for our people.

Anyone can trivialize this and act like what i just said “isn’t true” but even if you reach one person and wake them up it is worth it to run a website , imo.

I guess i am lost cause and a sucker in that way….altruism is our white genetic flaw.

I am not as articulate as many in these circles are but i seem to get attacked a lot on every “pro white” forum that exists.

It doesn’t really bother me, it just makes me less likely to revisit the site.

I almost didn’t return to this site after Fr J insulted me because anyone who thinks outside of the exact blueprint many whites have , are called “stupid” and incapable of being swayed to learn new things or reshape our beliefs.

Isn’t that what the older people in society are supposed to be doing?

Why would older people online tell younger WN’s that they were “stupid” and irredeemably lost” because they went outside of the systems sciences and opinions about things like say heliocentrism?

I never said the earth was flat, what i am implying is that NASA is a government entity that lies and heavily influences peoples minds that then formulates massively unquestionable beliefs that lead by the masses that lead humanity astray.

Pseudo-science plays a huge role in the veiling of humanity’s consciousness and guides our current trajectory in this world.

I think people overlook this a lot and i guess in the end a country that cannot name the enemy and state that the majority population have rights or exist isn’t a place (or a people) that should prioritize what’s in “outer-space” or in the deepest parts of the ocean that we still know nothing about.

Thats for serious nation-states like China and Russia
